The mischievous intention behind the slogan `Khalifah Khuda Banata Hay' is
to establish absolute control of QK(s) and his/their very close
associates/confidantes. I will try to analyze the issue in plain language for
the benefits of most readers. I would suggest you to read this article while
having Holy Quran and its authentic translation and commentary in front of you.
Let's start with the basics:
- Allah has created mankind, among His umpteen and abundant creations,
granting mankind the freedom of choice and freedom of will. They will be judged
and rewarded/punished on the Day of Judgement according to their deeds in this
mortal world.
- Everything belongs to Allah. Whatever one has (one's life, one's body,
soul, health, wealth, family, knowledge, sovereign power to rule the
world/country/city, authority within an organisation and so on) in this world
is actually given by Allah to see how he/she performs (though He is `bikulle
shae-in aleem' and knows even the smallest details of what has happened, what
is happening and what will happen and there are several references in Quran
supporting this statement).
- Everybody will be questioned and rewarded/punished according to what he
did with those things within his jurisdiction. Acquired things (e.g. wealth,
knowledge, worldly status etc.) are also given by Allah but with efforts
exerted by the achievers. The main purpose of bestowing anything or everything
to a person, groups, nations etc. is to judge them on the Day of Judgement.
[see 1R, 2R, 3R, 5R, 6R, 7R, 8R]
- Allah is the One Who bestows power to people to rule. He replaces people
with people and nations with nations as and when He wishes. Again, the purpose
is to test them and observe their deeds (so that they can be rewarded/punished
on the Day of Judgement). [see 3R, 5R, 6R, 7R, 9R]
- Allah has promised to Momineen and doers of good deeds that He will help
them and reward them with Khilafat/Power/Government [see 24:55]. These Momineen
(if given power) will then establish the system of Salat & Zakat and they
will do `amr bil-maroof wa nahee anil-munkar' (see 22:41). Allah's promise to
Muslims as well as with previous People of Book is that He will reward them if
they follow and enforce Allah's teachings. [see 5:65 - 5:66 and 7:96]
- But, if somebody (or some nations) fails the test of establishing Allah's
orders then he (they) is (are) among `Kafiroon/Zalimoon/Fasiqoon' (please see
5:44 to 5:48
- 1K. In true Islamic sense, the institution of Khilafat is related to
governance and power [3R, 4R, 5R, 6R, 7R, 12R, 13R, 14R, 24:55 and 22:41].
Being the leader of an Islamic party (with no power to run a government) does
not relate to Khilafat though the leader is still responsible for ensuring
Allah's obedience within his jurisdiction.
- 2K. Khalifah is the vicegerent of Allah. Khalifah's prime responsibility is
to establish sovereignty of Allah in order to pass the test. Merely acquiring a
title of `Khalifah' while doing otherwise does not make anyone a vicegerent of
Allah.
- 3K. Allah's promise regarding Khilafat does not mean that the head of an
Islamic Government (or Khalifah) would be appointed by Allah. It merely means
that Khilafat will be given to Momineen as a reward of their good deeds. It is
the responsibility
- of Momineen to choose their Khalifah among themselves (see 4:58). Momineen
shall follow the orders of Allah, His Prophet and Khalifah (in that order) as
long as Khalifah's obedience does not contradict Allah's orders and Prophet's
teachings. In case of any disagreement or difference of opinion between
Khalifah and Momineen, all of them should refer to the guidelines set by Allah
and His Prophet (see 4:59). Therefore, Khalifah is not a divinely appointed or
a divinely guided person. He has
- a very difficult task ahead of him, upon which he will be adjudged on the
Day of Judgement, to perform according to Allah's teachings and to establish
His orders.
- Having discussed Khilafat, let's turn to Qadiani Khilafat which has nothing
to do with Islam and its teachings due to the following reasons:
- 1Q. It is based on Mirza Ghulam Qadiani's `Nabuwwat', who is nothing but an
imposter and `Kazzab', since Quran clearly declares Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as
the last prophet. And Quran is a divine book which is easy to understand and
does not have any ambiguity (there are several references in Quran supporting
this statement). Mirza has had a history of contradictions in his writings
concerning his beliefs and claims, and therefore, does not have any
credibility.
- 2Q. Qadiani Khilafat is nothing but `Peeri Mureedi' as it has no conformity
with the concepts of Islamic institution of Khilafat (please see 1K, 2K, 3K in
addition to other Quranic references and the overall perspective of this
article). 3Q. If you look at the deeds and lifestyles of QKs and his/their
close associates they are continents apart with the Islamic teachings and
principles.
- 4Q. Nothing is transparent in QK system which is totally against the
Islamic teachings and practices of previous God fearing Caliphs (Khalifahs).
- 5Q. The authoritarian rule and dictatorship of QKs, which is absolutely
unchallenged in practice, is totally against the Islamic teachings and spirits.
In the end, I would say that basically there are two types of people in
Qadiani Jamaat. Those who are actually running the affairs (QKs and close
associates) have full knowledge of their greater agenda under the disguise of
religion. Muslims do not regard
these mischievous people under the fold of Islam. The other category
comprises of innocent, simple and ordinary Qadiani followers who do not know
the truth. Nobody should label them with anything as their fate would be
decided by Allah on the Day of Judgement (and He is the best judge) though
their ignorance carries a great risk of invoking His wreath (ignorance and
ancestor following are no real excuses as mentioned in Quran at several
places). It is absolutely imperative for the ordinary Qadianis to investigate
the truth in the light of Quran and relinquish Qadianiyat sooner rather than
later.
